Ngồi đây ta ngắm lá vàng rơi

Nhặt lá buồn thay lá chết rồi

Xót thương cây khóc ta cũng khóc

Thôi thế là thôi một kiếp rồi.

 

Ôi!Gió đành sao, đành sao hỡi!

Có buồn chăng khi thấy lá rơi

Âu thôi mệnh số, âu mệnh số

Nằm yên đây nhé lá vàng ơi.

 

Ngậm ngùi ôm lá dạ xót xa

Đôi mắt thẫn thờ mi đẫm lệ

Sự đời họp tan luôn là thế

À thôi phần số trách làm chi.

 

Lá ơi! Lá hỡi! … yên giấc nhé

Hãy ngủ, ngủ nào giấc nghìn thu

Cõi trần này lắm điều phiền muộn

Như lá thế này có phải hay!?…
