Đã bao lần cầm bút viết lên

Chuyện buồn vui tiếng cười sổ nhỏ

Sao đêm nay thấy vui nho nhỏ

Tay chống cằm cây viết suy tư

 

Có phải đêm,đêm dài thăm thẳm

Hay tại gió,gió chẳng qua đây

Hay tại em tiếng cười trong trẻo

Tay cầm bút sao chẳng viết lên

 

Hay tại em lần đầu ta gặp

Cứ như là ta đã quen lâu

hay tai ta thấy lòng rộng mở

Hay tại là đôi mắt em trong

 

Cầm cây viết nãy giờ cũng mỏi

Nghĩ bâng khuâng hồn thơ lạc mất

hay tại em cho hồn ta rối bời

Đêm khuya rồi mãi chẳng lên thơ.
