Buồn trông ánh nắng tà dương

Buồn trông phố vắng, con đường năm xưa

Buồn trông chiếc lá chiều mưa

Buồn trông ghế đá, hàng dừa xa xăm.

 

Vì ai mà phải cà lăm

Vì ai mà phải trầm ngâm những chiều

Vì ai mà phải quyết liều

Vì ai mà phải làm điều trên mây.

 

Em giờ nào biết nào hay

Em giờ chỉ biết vui say bên người

Em giờ vẫn mãi tươi cười

Em giờ chỉ biết một người mà thôi.

 

Thôi thì ngậm đắng mình tôi

Thôi thì quạnh vắng, đơn côi riêng mình

Thôi thì bôi xóa ân tình

Thôi thì như đóa lục bình lênh đênh.
