Chợt thấy chơi vơi giữa chốn này

Nhớ những ngày cuối nơi phố thị,

Từ giã Sài Gòn trở về quê.

 

Những ngày ấy mưa buồn và lạ lẫm,

Gió tung tăng reo vui khắp nẻo đường

Người sang sông đầu còn ngoảnh lại,

Tiếng sóng con tàu hay tiếng sóng lòng ai?
