Hành lý gồm một nỗi buồn chín rữa

Chân trời chờ tôi đã sẵn chuyến tàu

Ai ra tiễn nán giùm đôi phút nữa

Thời gian nghiến hoài trên những ray đau

 

Cổ máy già nua giọng ho chừng sắp cạn

Kéo cô đơn qua khấp khểnh đêm thâu

Nghe còi hú thương ngắn dài hữu hạn

Ngấm hoang vu từ buổi ghé ga đầu

 

Chuyến tàu nặng cả kiếp người nhẫn nại

Biết bao năm hồi hộp một lần thôi

Mọi bến đổ đều nhủ lòng – hay bến cuối

Hỏi toa nào đang chở nốt đời tôi?
