Đôi khi tình yêu ấy

Biết không hỏi được gì

Câu trả lời lạc lõng

Nó chẳng buồn nghe chi.

 

Đôi khi tình yêu ấy

Biết không hy vọng gì

Hy vọng bịt mắt nó

Trước sự thật khinh khi.

 

Đôi khi tình yêu ấy

Biết không mong đợi gì

Nỗi đau cắt sâu nữa

Khi phút đến sầu bi.

 

Đôi khi tình yêu ấy

Biết tự bỏ ra đi

Cố không rơi nước mắt

Dù lệ đẫm chia ly.
