Tiếng ve giục mùa hè,

Phượng vĩ sắc đỏ hoe.

Ngày tháng trôi nhanh quá,

Thoáng chốc, phải chia xa.

 

Bên gốc bàng rợp lá,

Đôi bạn buồn, thiết tha,

Ngồi bên hàng ghế đá,

Lệ ướt thắm màu hoa.

 

Nhớ sao hè năm ấy,

Trước mắt, mùa chia tay,

Chuyền nhau dòng lưu bút,

Tình bạn thắm bao ngày.

 

Và một mùa phượng nở,

Ngôi trường mới khang trang,

Đón khóa một bỡ ngỡ,

Phượng đỏ thắm hàng hàng.

 

Năm nay phượng lại nở,

Hè đến rồi hè đi,

Chia ly rồi lại hợp,

Lòng vẫn thấy bâng khuâng…
