Cúc vàng bên vườn ai

Ân cần tay muốn hái

Ngại mùa qua phí hoài

Tàn thu rồi xa ngái

 

Thoáng nhớ cúc hoa xưa

Thuở nón, dù đón đưa

Thơ tình tôi lem mực

Áo dài em bước mưa

 

Nghiêm nghị buổi dạ thưa

Cúc ngập ngừng ngại nở

Phố núi chiều buông rèm

Phong phanh người ngược gió

 

...Và, hôm xuôi phố chợ

Đà Lạt chiều hoang mang

Ngước chào khung cửa nhỏ

Vàng ơi, hoa cúc vàng.
