Tóc bạc rồi sao vẫn gọi nhau anh em

Và đôi mắt vẫn nồng nàn ánh lửa

Sao chốn đào nguyên xưa giờ vẫn như bông hoa vừa chớm nở

Để ai buồn ai thương nhớ em ơi!

Sao bờ mi kia vẫn có thể chết người,

Làm bối rối hồn thi nhân mơ mộng...

Sao giữa trái tim gầy vẫn còn khoang biển rộng

Khiến thuyền tình muốn dứt đứt dây neo!

Để rồi sợ cả gió thông reo,

Sợ cả tiếng hoạ mi đang lảnh lót

Sợ gặp nhau với những lời dịu ngọt

Ai khát cháy lòng, bình nước mát chẳng dám trao!...
