Đã lâu rồi con không về thăm mẹ

Chắc giờ này quê mẹ khác ngày xưa

Nhớ những ngày mẹ dãy nắng dằm mưa

Từng hạt gạo thơm nồng tay mẹ nâu

 

Giọt mồ hôi thắm đầy trên lưng mẹ

Vai áo bạc màu theo năm tháng gian lao

Ơn mẹ hiền nặng tựa núi cao

Tình của mẹ như nước nguồn êm chảy

 

Mẹ ơi mẹ suốt đời con nhớ mãi

Ơn nghĩa sinh thành không thể nào quên
