Ai làm lá đổ tháng mười

Trải đầy con ngõ vắng người ghé qua?

Úa tàn sắc lá phôi pha...

Mưa buồn giăng lạnh nhạt nhòa đêm thâu.

.

Ai sui người bước qua cầu

Quên con ngõ nhỏ nhuốm màu rêu phong?

Dưới giàn thiên lý trổ bông,

Vẫn còn hơi ấm mà không thấy người...

.

Người đi, trải nắng tháng mười

Nhớ chăng kẻ đếm mưa nơi ngõ sầu...?

Vết chân xưa cũ còn đâu!

Quạnh hiu ngõ vắng, nát nhàu lá rơi...

.

Ngõ xưa đợi bước chân người

Trở về quét lá vàng nơi cõi lòng...!

Giàn thiên lý vẫn trổ bông,

Mưa buồn vẫn đổ, người trông ngóng người. /.
