Hai mươi năm trời lưu lạc

Hai mươi năm trời xa quê

Từ miền đất lạ

Hăm hở em về.

 

Thành phố mình vẫn đẹp

Đất nước mình vẫn xanh

Bao nụ hồng vẫn nở

Trong nắng sớm trong lành.

 

Tuổi thơ xưa mình hái ổi

Tuổi thơ xưa mình lội sông

Giữa dòng đời xuôi ngược

Em còn nhớ tôi không?

 

Em chợt kêu bằng tiếng Pháp

Em chợt hỏi bằng tiếng Anh

Em cúi đầu ôm mặt

Nước mắt buồn chảy quanh.

 

Hai mươi năm trời lưu lạc

Hai mươi năm trời xa quê…
